I like it, but it’s hard to use
I like that it straightens my curly wavy hair, but it’s kind of hard to use. I was hoping I could just brush my hair with it, but it doesn’t really glide that well. And if you don’t use the glove, you can/will burn your hand, but the glove makes it hard to grab your hair.

Game changer for curly hair!
10 out of 10!!! Love this product. Previously have only been able to use flat irons to get my hair very straight. They can’t hold much they take forever to pass through, and I constantly get burned by the steam. Any other straightening tools always took forever and left my hair frizzy and looking damaged. This item can pass through my hair in just two passes to get it straight. Holds twice as much hair in the comb compared to flat iron & travels through it at least 3x’s faster. I have super thick curly hair and this was able to get it done in in less than an hr on my first try. No burning either. Wish they made this when I was in high school.

Almost Perfect
Love this hair straightener. 2 passes thru your hair and you are done. The only thing I dont like is the on/off button is located where you hold the brush while styling and I have accidently turned it off on more than one occasion.

Curly to straight
I have naturally curly hair and lots of it! I’ve never really been able to get my hair straight without having to spend hours doing it. It was frustrating and honestly tiring. This makes it simple. I do have to wait for my hair to be dry which can take forever but that’s noting new for me. The style stays for a day or so with minor touch ups. Love it!

WOW!!!
Honestly, I was pretty hesitant to buy this product since seeing it on Facebook. I don’t trust purchasing anything on FB so researched it and read reviews heading over to Amazon to purchase. I believe the videos shown are a little exaggerated because I did not come out with a 100% smooth sleek look but my hair was pretty darn straight considering the “MUFASA” it is. The handle is a bit awkward since the power and heat setting options are where you hold the appliance in return frequently turning it off while doing your hair. Nonetheless, this was a great straightening brush and I totally recommend it!

OMG guys, I love this product !!! My hair is naturally curly and always frizzy. Not super tight curls but curly and again ALWAYS frizzy. I got my Tymo today and I used it right away. MY HAIR!! IT’S BEAUTIFUL !! It is soooooo soft, and sooooo shiny !! I am floored. Buh-Bye Frizz! I can’t say enough about how soft my hair is. Life changing
I use a ceramic flat iron 1 to 2 times per week. Overtime the heat and repetitive use breaks my hair. I used the Tymo for first time. It took 4 min to straighten my hair the absolute best it has ever been @ 310 degrees. When straightened hair hit my neck it was barely warm. I have never purchased product the was truly everything they said. Now my hair can get healthy without straightening damage. I will NEVER purchase another flat iron ever. This is the best product ever! Thank you!!

Really impressed!
I have naturally wavy hair and been using a flatiron forever. My hair has been really dry for a few years. Have tried all the extra moisturizing conditioners. Nothing helped. Wanted to try this comb straightener. And I’m so impressed. I used it on dirty hair already straightened just because of when it got delivered, and I could tell a difference. Then washed my hair and let it air dry wavy. And then used it again with no hair product but a heat protector. Again impressed, and my hair was so soft. I couldn’t get over how soft. Then washed my hair again, used a little hair product, less than usual, and the heat protector, and exactly as expected from using it the couple of times before, impressed and my hair is so soft. Needless to say, I will not be going back to my flatiron that I spent a small fortune on. My only complaint is the placement of the on/off button, it’s very easy to turn it off when using it. Otherwise best straightener ever!

It works better been expected
One swipe and your hair is straightened. It takes me maybe five minutes to do my hair and I have a lot of hair. Best straightener I’ve ever used. If I could give it more stars I would. It’s that good. Warms up quickly. Cools down quickly. You can’t burn yourself while using this. And it’s on your hair so quickly it doesn’t harm your hair. I do recommend putting some kind of protectant on your hair when doing the straightening, but it is amazing. Awesome product!

Want to say absolutely love it but only lasted 8 months
I want to say how much I love this straightener because it makes my hair so soft, silly, and like I just walked out of a salon. It’s faster and easier to use than any other straightener that I’ve ever had and I have literally tried them all because I have naturally curly hair and I hare it. However, today it wouldn’t turn on. I’ve only had it less than 8 months and there is obviously a short in it and it won’t stay on for more than a second or two if I turn the cord a little. This is SO disappointing! Not even a year of use and it’s dead. It’s never been dropped or anything. I was literally telling my friends about it last night and sent them the link to purchase it but now… So sad right now!

I feel misled.
The products review show this working for 4a-4c hair. I have a mixture of 3C, 4a and 4b hair. It did not straighten my 4b hair AT ALL. It works great on wigs, but that’s about all. My daughter has 3b hair, and it didn’t work that great on her hair, either. I feel like this is some sort of scam or misleading advertising.

Voodoo magic or something…
Typically straightening my hair with a traditional flat iron takes well over an hour, using the TYMO Ring+ took me 20 minutes for my whole head. For my curly babes: I have 3A type curly hair that reaches my shoulder blades. I was super skeptical when I first saw it on TikTok because they were all raving reviews or sponsored posts but I genuinely can’t believe how well this worked for me.I air dried my hair after a shower and spray down of L’Oréal Sleek It heat protectant. Brushed it out and raked Chi Silk Infusion through before I sectioned it out. Two passes at 370 had my hair pin straight. No wavy roots, no awkward half straightened pieces. Completely straight. This lets you take thicker sections compared to your normal flat iron AND it straightens them just as well. The key is tension on the hair as your combing down so it pulls all the hair evenly into the heating element (USE THE GLOVE TRUST ME).I didn’t burn myself once, my wrists don’t hurt, and it took so quick I’m still in shock. I’m recommending this to everyone I know, and if you’re like me where you have to research everything before buying I promise you this time it’s okay to believe the hype lol.

Good for thick hair
I owned a Dyson airwrap. My hair is thick wavy, I really have a lot of hair so you can imagine. I bought these hair tool with the purpose of doing my hair in a faster way when I’m in a rush. It’s been a month since I’ve been using it and I like it so far. However, you do have to know how to use it properly. it is key to tension your hair as much as you can so you get a nice blowout effect and to Straighten your hair with less passes. I am usually good with one to two passes on the 370F Temperature. I will prefer less heat however I have thick hair.I do want mention that if you want a totally straight look on your ends and your hair has lots of layers a straightener would give you a better look than using this tool. I think this tool gives a great blowout look for layered haircuts. Also, it has great heating settings and definitely use a heat protectant.

Kickass product with one design flaw
I would give this comb 5 stars if it weren’t for one major flaw. On a few separate occasions the comb has grabbed my earring that sits in my helix piercing (top of the ear). I wear a stud, not a hoop, and the clasp at the back is just big enough to fit in the slots of the comb and stick. On one occasion I had to unplug the comb and have my husband unstick my ear from the comb. Kinda comical, but truly scary when it’s set to 300° + and your ear is stuck to it. Even with that, it does not, and would not prevent me from using the comb. I’m sure if the product was used as intended and not in haste I wouldn’t get my ear stuck in the first place. This product is night and day from my typical Chi flat iron. It leaves your hair shiny and much straighter. I’ve noticed that any damage I had previously is pretty much gone and my hair a lot healthier. Overall this comb is Kick-Ass!

Great for 4c hair.
This was the first time straightening my hair since I stopped relaxing on in 2019. I’ve been wearing protective styles the entire time, hence why my ends look the way the do as my hair go severely tangled during transition, I pretty much ripped it apart and never trimmed it afterwards. Anyways I was skeptical, he after watching reviews I went ahead and purchased this straightener. I was completely shocked at how well it worked and didn’t seem to burn my hair. You only need one pass with small sections. I did go over it lightly with a flat iron afterwards, but it was not necessary. I would definitely recommend.

Great product
This product is one of the best hair products I’ve used. I have really coarse curly hair and this product was able to straighten my hair (to where it was manageable). Initially, I tried to use it on my dry hair, but I felt like it was putting too much heat on my hair for the result. When I used it with my damp hair, the results were much better. However, it gets pretty hot when you are near your scalp because of the steam.

LOVE IT
I struggle putting my wavy (frizzy) hair in a ponytail…mostly because I’m just not that patient. Blowdrying is something that happens only when I go to the salon. Forget about straightening it. This thing is AMAZING!!!I I had my hair straight in less than 10 minutes and it only took that long because I’m not good at sectioning it off. Highly recommend to everyone, especially those who are challenged at doing anything other than a homeless lady’s messy bun.

I got this today, I actually love it. You need to figure out the right temperature for your hair type. Yes you need the glove because my hair got hot. Make sure you use a heat resistance spray, It took me about 15 minutes to do my whole head, the secret is to use small sections of hair and it straightens immediately. Now, I have to learn how to get my edges. But, yes I encourage you to buy this product.

I loved it! It does what was promised.
First thing I will say: I often find myself returning the new hair styling tools I purchase. For almost 10 years I have been using the Instyler curling roll, and nothing new I have tried has been more effective, for my very thick and curly natural hair. Everything new I have tried is either not powerful enough (so I need to keep using a flat iron, and the Instyler), or it causes frizz. Therefore, I have to return it. But I will not return the Tymo ring plus. It is excellent. My hair looks shiny, and it is really silky. I also got a salon look I have not gotten from other hair heating tools. I think it does protect the hair as it is advertised. I found it in Instagram, and decided to get it from Amazon, because I have prime, and trust Amazon’s service. I absolutely recommend both, the ring plus and Amazon. Thank you!

It’s not a game this really works
For so long doing my hair or my grand daughter’s hair was always a struggle, if the heat was to high would it burn my grand baby like some of the burns I had on my ears, neck and forehead… but tymo took all the worry out of trying to get to those roots…. Straight in Minutes!
I have super thick curly hair, and I had my whole head straightened within 15 minutes the first time. I could have made more sections in my hair, and I honestly think it could have gone quicker, without having to do multiple swipes in one area. The back is never easy, but this is never hot to the skin and allows you to get super close to the scalp. I love it! My hair is still straight 3 days later!! I haven’t even passed the iron over it again, but if I really want that silky look, I could just redo the top layer. It’s really amazing! I wish I had this years ago!

I’ve never used a better hair tool in my life. I can straighten my entire head of thick hair in less than a half an hour. Which is impressive for thick hair. I don’t feel like my hair is being fried when i use it either. It has great temperature options. Highly recommend for hair on the thick and coarse side. Not sure how well it would work for thin hair.
