Don’t waste money on name brand junk
I paid almost $100 for another name brand product. It held no charge and would nip me if it wasn’t fully charged at use. I dropped it once and the switch broke, making it constantly stay on. This is a far superior product.

I’m a barber and have been for decades…
I’ve been a practicing barber for decades. I became one in my late teens and now I’m retired. I know about edgers well. The industry likes to over-charge women because they know we’re used to buying beauty products and they mark intimate edgers up by 20% or more. I know this, so I decided to try this product even though it’s for men. I was not expecting much but I’m tired of buying edgers that bite. Even with my discount, a Wahl product is going to be $60 or more. I’m on a budget now and have to make choices differently than I did when I was standing behind the chair. I figured at this price, I use once and throw it out, I still got a deal. First of all, the ergonomics of this product are awesome. Second, I’m used to a very close shave being a barber. I will say this will not give you that but who cares? My expectations are not like yours are. This still provides a close shave. It is quiet and the power is much lower than I’m used to but it works! My only suggestions are…be careful not to drop this. It’s got a ceramic blade and I’m not sure it would survive it. Pull the skin with your other hand (a flat palm). when shaving for a close shave. We’re taught that in barber school. You will have to go over a section at least three times for a close shave. Mine did not include a brush to clean but in my industry we use several brushes… but my favorite will always be a tint brush. It is a brush we use to apply color to the scalp. You can put “tint brush for color application” in the search bar of Amazon and you can find one for a few dollars. We’re taught to clean our edgers and clippers after every client. I would suggest you clean it with a brush after every use and store the edgers in a place where it will not be prone to dropping it, like a drawer. My score for this product as a professional, is a “9.” You won’t be disappointed.

after hearing the name brand adds i was about i buy it. glad i didnt.
In life, I always find myself comparing the Ozark Trail tumbler with the Yeti tumbler. In one hand, you have the Ozark Trail tumbler; in the other, a Yeti tumbler. The Ozark Trail costs $12 at Walmart, while the Yeti is priced at $55. Why the huge price difference when they both keep ice for the same amount of time? That’s essentially paying for the brand name.If you’re looking at this product, then you most likely are familiar with the big-name brand version, which costs $90. That’s a steep price, especially for something that has garnered a lot of 1-star reviews recently. Upon reviewing this product, the price makes sense, the quality appears good, and the reviews are highly favorable.After receiving this trimmer, I tested it immediately after letting it charge. I was curious because I had seen many reviews stating it could nick the skin. Indeed, after a couple of uses, I found that if you don’t take your time and be patient, it most definitely will. However, I took it slow and noticed no nicks at all. In fact, I found it hard to get one. I did end up with a nick, but only because I was rushing just to see what would happen.This is the first trimmer I’ve used for ‘downstairs’ grooming, and I have to say it’s a great choice. The fact that it’s waterproof is amazing. It’s quiet and has a nice design. If you’re on the fence about this and the name-brand one, get this one! You won’t regret it.

This clipper is better than I thought. It cleans you up quick, without any nicks. I didn’t even have to put the guard on to do my private. I also buzzed my head as well, and came out good. I highly recommend getting this instead of the more expensive Manspot.

Easy to Use but not baby smooth
As a personal groomer I thought this fell short – definitely not a clean shave so if you are looking for smooth results I am not sure this is the product for you. That said it is very lightweight, battery lasts a long time, the guards are very versatile and clip on and off with ease and the handling is very smooth. I found that it’s very good for general shaving of the nape of the neck, side burns, stomach and chest hair – also did a fantastic job cutting my hair – fade was seamless and it gave me clean lines!

Takes some practice, but I like it
First I’ll say that I do like this trimmer overall. It is quiet. It hums, but its quieter than an exhaust fan. It is very sharp and cuts even my coarse chest hair with ease. I’m a very hairy person, and I don’t want to be anymore. I use it with the length combs to trim my chest, my hands, arms, neck, and my legs. I use it to completely shave “down below”. So I’ve learned a few things after using this trimmer a few times. First, it cuts very close but leaves stubble. So it works great for taking off a lot of hair or keeping hair trimmed with the included length combs. (I had pics of my chest, but my phone crashed and I lost them). The combs do get clogged with hair when trimming long hair for the first time. Main things I have learned; keep the head flat against the skin, go against the grain for closest cut, take your time trimming intimate areas. And the number one thing, when you are trimming your scrotum(sack, nads, whatever), go ACROSS the ridges and wrinkles. DO NOT run the trimmer with the ridge. It will draw the skin in-between the teeth and cut the hell out your sack. Even if you are using a guard. I cut myself the first time, so next time I used the short guide. Still cut me, just not as bad. Pull the skin tight when possible. Use your thumb to pull the skin and your fingers to push up on your nads to stretch the skin. Whatever you can do to keep the skin tight helps a lot. When you can not do this, trim slow and careful and ACROSS the ridges and wrinkles. I can’t stress that enough.I have the Bodygroom foil razer for everyday shaving. I found this morning that it works well for finishing the job. Gets it very close with little danger. There are still small trimmer teeth on the edges of the foil, so be careful of those. I also use Nivea Sensitive Aftershave Balm afterward. Makes the skin soft. Fights razer burn and ingrown hairs. Plus it smells great. I use the Mangroomer for my back. I’m not crazy about it, but it does a decent job. Better than others I have tried.I would definitely recommend this trimmer to anyone wanting to be less hairy as I do. I do wish I had gotten the new one with the light. But at the time I thought “why would I need a light?” Well, when trimming down below, it would make it easier to see what you’re doing.

Even gets the beanbag
For years I’ve used a Bear’d trimmer to do the manscaping. It would do an OK job in most areas, but the boys would always be getting nicked up along with the base of my noodle. So finally I broke down and decided to get something specifically to trim the nether regions. I was going to get the more well-known namebrand that most people have probably seen through advertising, but found this and thought that I would give it a shot instead. Gotta say, this shaver does a superb job. Cleans everything up nice and close, even the places where no matter how hard I try, I can’t usually get as short as I would like. No problems here. I did Nick my marble sack and draw a little blood, but I was holding the trimmer at a strange angle, probably my fault. Even so, it did a much better job than anything I’ve previously used. Plus, it was a nice, smooth cut, no resistance. I would recommend this product to anybody who is looking for something for their downstairs grooming.

Does the job
I bought this as a gift for my husband and it did the job. There are a few things to note, however, I don’t think it handles thick long hair well. Short soft hair……no problem. It doesn’t seem very durable, in terms of strength. It feels as if it will break if handled too roughly. The battery also doesn’t last too long. For a quick touch up, it is fine but for a “long” trim, it will run out.

Feels cheap, came covered in mold – updated
Update – after cleaning and using the trimmer for a few weeks, I am pleased with its design and function. It works well enough, holds a charge, and is easy to use. The proprietary charger is a drag but I believe they fixed that in later models. Giving 4 stars because it works as designed, but I can’t forgive the packaging snafuThis is a first impression review, and as first impressions go this wasn’t great. The product box was covered in a type of shrink wrap that upon opening had an *extremely* strong medicinal odor. Upon further inspection the trimmer itself, box, and accessories, were covered in patches of white mold (see photos) and the trimmer was somehow wet?? This is extremely offputting for a personal care product, and speaks to the companies quality control and storage practices.The trimmer itself has that classic Chinese plastic cheap feel, which is ironic considering how far the company has gone to present themselves as an American product, Writing “Established in Missouri” and being sure to note that the founders name is ostensibly American (Gordon) while containing a quintessentially Chinese product and broken English manuals. The trimmer also has poor weight distribution. It’s front heavy while the base of the plastic handle feels empty. The guards don’t feel like they’ll last long in that they are brittle with slight flex, but will evidently snap in half if flexed too often. I will update this review once I’ve used the trimmer several times, but so far I would suggest skipping this item, it’s Chinese junk that’s clearly been sitting in a warehouse for years.

Nick free nuts!
I’ve been using the same dreadful trimmer for about a decade, and the boys have suffered the consequences way too many times. This just arrived and once charged, I put it to the test (arrived pretty much fully charged by the way). I actually tried to make things go wrong, but it just behaved the whole time. Never again will I put off mowing with this new piece of hardware. I can’t speak to battery life as that hasn’t and never will be put to the test. My initial thought was to go with one of the most popular ones, but this was a great decision. Value and great results collide. I will not attach a picture!

Effective for Women too
Solid product. I’ve enjoyed it. Makes things a lot easier, quicker and safer for pubic area trimming. Especially compared to my double edge razor, which I love for a super close and long lasting result, but can be too exfoliating for my skin and cause bumps. So far haven’t experienced any bumps or nicks. I’ve used the trimmer on my armpits and it worked well too. I may have to do this maybe once a week with no attachments to the blades, BUT the safety and ease is worth it. Makes my shave showers SO much quicker and easier.

Manscaped who?
This little trimmer has everything a manscaped bushhog mega trim 7.0 does except a light on it and in my personal experience i’ve cut myself with a manscaped multiple times and had a very good view thanks to their led light, now I’ve used this for 6 months, never changed the blade (gross Ik but mind your business) and I’ve had not a single knick, save 80$ or whatever the difference is if you ask me

No nicks!
I was able to give myself a full haircut. Head to toe on one charge. Easy to change guards. Simple flip open clean like others, came with a brush. I was happy how it worked on my pubic hair as it is thick and coarse. We will see how the blade holds up. That’s the true test for me.

Be prepared to be surprised … pleasantly!
This trimmer is a revelation. I have used it once and I am floored by how easy and stress free the whole experience was. Zero nicks or cuts and zero blood. I didn’t think this was even possible! You do have to go over some spots twice to catch all the hair but that was no big deal. I really appreciated that the trimmer simply refused to catch skin and draw blood. No aggravation, no stress, no trepidation about when the next cut will come. This is how it should have been from the beginning.

No completely nick free but gets the job done
Battery life seems to be good, lost 1 of 3 bars after the first use of about 10 minutes. You still will need to be careful and take it slow in certain areas not to nick yourself. Very ergonomic and comfortable to use. For the price, I would recommend it.

This is the economy version of the manscape product
Use it daily on my face to give me a solid 5 o’clock shadow. Never cut or nicked me. Used it on my boys at first, yes I washed them in-between, but never cut or knocked them either. Great handle, not too noisy. Great product.
