Used for a straightener
I used this after straightening my hair with my straightener. The bathroom counter is fine, wasn’t hot to the touch. I do worry though because the silicone mat is thin. I just worry about how time will have a play on this.Easily washed since it’s a soft silicone. It can be rolled up for safe stowing away.

Large Heat Resistant Mat for Hair Tools
This large heat-resistant mat for hair tools works really well. I have a few other types of mats that are similar to this on , and this one is my favorite because it’s the biggest one. I can’t fit 2 hair tools on it at a time. It also rolls up and clips together for travel or storage. I also like the color.

Decent mat
This is an okay heat mat. We use it for hair dryers and hair straighteners. It gets the job done. I compared it to another heat mat that we own, and this pink one is a bit thinner in rubber material.

Too thin for daily use but maybe OK for travel
I was surprised at just how thin this silicone mat is. It is probably only 1/3 the thickness of other mats that I have used. That makes it light so it may be good for occasional use when traveling, but I don’t feel that it is thick enough and heat resistant enough for regular use so I will not be relying on it.

Save your counters
I recently set ap a makeup table and was concerned about putting my flat iron down on it. I purchased this mat and it is perfect. I uses my flatiron on very high heat and this mat has prevented any burning on the furniture. I would recommend this product.

Great for travel, quickly shipped,
Got a new vanity with faux croc on the top, this helps to avoid brurning the top of the table and it travels well! Have taken it on a few vacations, you know doing your hair right before the hotel last thing you do and sticking a hot curling iron in luggage isn’t good, this avoids that!

Extra large, nice mat
This mat is slightly larger than a sheet of printer paper. It easily holds several items; perfect for a multi-girl household where each girl has to have their own hair styling tool, but they have to share the same bathroom. It’s a good thickness so there’s no worry about burning the top of the counter. It rolls up easily and stays secure with the included velcro tab. It’s exactly as pictured and it under $10 makes a nice gift for yourself or for someone else.

Good size – perfect for under flat irons or Bedhead Wavers that don’t have stand
This is about the size of a piece of printer paper. It is silicone and has indents that help dissipate heat. It has a very long hook-and-loop strip (like a very long version of the cord organizers) so you can hang it or keep it rolled so you can throw it in your overnight bag.I typically don’t flat iron my hair right now, but this has been perfect under my Bedhead A Wave We Go waver that doesn’t have a lock or stand.

My daughter loves pink, so I got her this silicone heat mat to protect our stone countertops in the bathroom. This mat is large enough to place two heat tools on at the same time. Perfect for travel
When traveling I don’t always have time to to wait for my curling iron to cool before putting it away. I’m also usually fighting for bathroom space and end up doing my hair at the wood table/desk in the hotel room and worry about scorching the wood. This silicone mat is great for both issues. I lay it out and put my iron on it, and then wrap it up, secure it with the Velcro strap and toss it in my suitcase when I’m done. It’s large enough for my three-barrel iron as well.

Good travel mat
I feel like this would make a really good travel mat. Picture is pretty accurate when it comes to size and doesn’t take up much space. It does roll up and has velcro strap attached that you can use to wrap it up tightly for travel or storage.

Big size!
Great mat, not much to say about it other than its size is deluxe and large. Definitely higher quality than the one I already have. I ordered this to upgrade mine, as sometimes I’ll put my three barrel waver down and if I’m not careful, some of it will sit on the carpet (where I sit and do my hair). This is a far safer option!

This is a very handy heat resistant mat that’s perfect for any hot device. It’s great for curling irons and with its large surface, it will fit multiple things.I like using it in the kitchen as a large trivet for hot pans. Easy to use
The Large Heat Resistant Mat for Hair Tool with Velcro works well. The mat gives you a nice area to set your hair tools on and helps provide a bit of protection when you need to put the tool away before it is cool. I would not stick a hot tool wrapped up in the silicone in your bag right away, though. The silicone held up to my hair straightener, and I like that it came with a velcro strap to help get it around the tool. It does heat up, though, so even though it isn’t going to melt the silicone mat, it will be a bit hot to handle. All in all, it works, but be smart about it.

Good heat mat. Not sure about the instructions to keep it sealed up to avoid dust…
Overall a good heat resistant mat. Decent size, can use for hot hair tools or other hot products. Grippy, so keeps things from sliding away too. Mat rolls open with a velcro type strap for easy carrying or packing away.The mat instructions do note that “there is a slight electrostatic adsorption…it will adhere to dust in the air. It is suggested to keep it in a seal.” I did find the mat attracted hair, dust, etc. – but it doesn’t make sense to keep the mat sealed up as per the instructions – it’s the type of item you leave out all the time if it is going to be useful. But easy enough to rinse off periodically to keep it clean.A 4+ star product.

Good Heat mat
I am using this in the kitchen for my hot pots and pans. It felt flimsy and didn’t feel very thick, it says heat resistant up to 450°. I am roasting a beef rib, so right now the pan will get up to 450° max, and I am letting it sit so it probably be 425° once it hits the mat. I checked the mat and it didn’t melt and the counter was fine. It worked like it should and I am happy.

The mat is multi-purpose – and it’s heat resistant to 480 degrees. This can be equally useful in the kitchen! Any place that you want to prevent the heat from damaging a table top, or whatever.Rolling the mat up makes it highly portable, maybe for a visit to relative’s homes for Thanksgiving.I think I like this little mat.

Good Pad
This is a thin, flexible, silicone pad that works great for protecting your counter tops from heat damage from bathroom appliances. The ridges keep it from coming into direct contact with the curling iron. I have not had an issue with it over heating and melting. The velcro loop allows you to roll the mat into a tube securing it for easy storage. The mat stays in place once on the countertop. It does protect the countertop and can hold more than one appliance at a time.

Very handy large silicone mat for curling irons, etc. Measures 11 1/2″ x 9″, lays flat, stays put. Not quite as thick as some other silicone mats that I have, but is sufficient for styling tools.
