I use for everything
Now this is a little bit more online versus getting it at Home Depot by a few dollars. But I didn’t have to go to Home Depot to get it and I love that I can use this and put multiple products in it. As long as you clean it out works great for spring peroxide on areas that dogs and cats pee on.

Hose a little loose
It sprays well and does it job fine. The spray handle hose is a little loose and is hard to keep on when pressurizing. Once you start using it when spraying I have no problem with the hose. You certainly can’t hold the whole container with the hose, but, they aren’t built to do it that way. I’ve only used for about 4 gallons of spray. I will see how it holds up.

Does the job
This sprayer arrived quickly, and I was able to use it three minutes after I opened the box. If you have used sprayers before (or not), this is about as simple as it gets. Don’t forget to shimmy the little black ‘nut’ down the smaller tubing to tighten and secure it, or the pressure won’t build up properly. I used this to make my own Neem treatment for fleas in the yard. We’ll see if the treatment works, but there is no issue with the sprayer. I have 99 problems but a malfunctioning sprayer isn’t one. Fits about a gallon, but I fill over the mark a bit and don’t have issues. I fill it with very hot water, no problems there. Easy to carry. Sprayer nozzle seems solid, easy to depress and hold for long periods. It appears that you can purchase different kinds of nozzles, but the nozzle provided works just fine. Inexpensive, uncomplicated, good for the DIY yard person.

Economical and works great
Very good basic sprayer. Easy to put together, simple to use, and inexpensive. I prefer using multiple of these sprayers each dedicated to a different chemical instead of investing in a more expensive “fancy” sprayer and having to deal with changing chemicals. The only negative about this sprayer is it doesn’t have a pressure release valve. So it can be messy trying to release the pressure from the chamber.

Good Sprayer, confusing manual
The sprayer works well and is easy to assemble. Once assembled, it is also easy to operate. You pump air into it with the handle on top and can spry ca ⅓ of a gallon before you have to pump again. The sprayer can be adjusted to a fine mist, or to a constant streaming, which is for example good, if you want to get insecticide into the crevices in the concrete on your driveway.What I did not appreciate is that the manual shows you a lot of add-ons as if they were part of your delivery. They seem to be in the “What’s in the box” section, so my first impulse when I opened the box was to send it back to Amazon because a lot of stuff seemed to be missing. Only on a second look did I realize that the items displayed were extras that you can order should you need them. Also in other sections the manual is unnecessarily complicated. What you need to know to assemble, fill and operate the sprayer can easliy be said on one page, instead you get like a booklet with all unnecessary details in it, which is confuding.

Great for multiple yard projects
First I’ll say the item is made of a very strong and durable plastic. Setup took about 2 minutes and as long as you make sure you snap the pieces together without any gaps, you will not have any leakage. They make this clear in the instructions, and so, I had zero issues.I made a homemade weed killer with some common kitchen ingredients (vinegar, Dawn dishsoap and salt) poured it into this sprayer and got to work. The nozzle can be set to stream or mist and everything in between. I used it on mist so that I could really drench the entire area. You pump the handle until you feel resistance (maybe 5-10 seconds), lock it in place and pull the trigger on your wand and a nice powerful spray ensues. When the flow weakens, simply repump. I do need to mention that you get a powerful stream for quite a while before having to repump. Using this prayer made a little go a long way! I made one gallon of solution and was able to saturate about a 200′ long by 2′ wide area. And it only took me 10 minutes! After that, the weeds had all turned brown in a matter of 2 hrs. If I didn’t have this sprayer I would have had to either pour the solution on (and gone through waaaaayyy more of it). Or put it in a regular hand-held spray bottle. Which would have taken hours and not to mention the hand cramps that would have came with it.When I was done, I rinsed the container out and now it’s ready for its next use…which will be to apply mulch glue along our rock beds. It’s going to be a cinch now that I have my new sprayer. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Stellar support!
I purchased a 2 pack of the one gallon sprayers. I was impressed with the sturdiness of the sprayer bottles. I filled one up and started pumping it up and air was blasting out around the o ring at the top. It was a manufacturing issue. I didn’t want to deal with returning both to Amazon so I called Chapin. They asked for a photo, I sent them one, and they immediately sent me out a replacement for the sprayer with the manufacturing issue. Very nice to deal with a company that takes care of their customers!!

It’s a sprayer that works as intended
It’s a gallon sprayer made in the USA, that’s a good start. Where it stumbles, and the reason I took one star off (yeah, maybe a little petty) is that it has markings for 2L, 4L, and 1/2 gallon, but no marking for ONE GALLON on a ONE GALLON sprayer MADE IN THE USA?! WTH? Mind you, a gallon is less than 4L and it had the marking for 4L. I am pretty particular about having precise measurements for the poison being distributed, but I was left to guess how much was an exact gallon. Maybe they should rename it to a 4L sprayer. Otherwise, the sprayer is great.

Easy to assemble, sturdy handle, good spray tip adjustment
Easy to assemble and use. Want attachment has a nice adjustment nozzle and the carrying/pump handle is sturdy. The mechanism for locking the handle to carry vs pump is fidgety and can take some getting used to but I don’t mind.Also, when filling be mindful that the pump will take up some volume so don’t over fill or there will be overflow when replacing the pump/handle.Would be nice if there were a way to store/attach the wand to the bottle.

It could use a separate pressure release valve, but not a big deal. Slowly unscrew the pump / fill opening and pressure is easily released. Pressurizes nicely. adjusting the tip changes form stream to spray. It’s a no frills sprayer that works well.

Great buy for TWO!
Great watering pump pressurized sprayers. They hold plenty of water or liquid fertilizer for what I need in my greenhouse. I’ve filled one with water and one with diluted liquid fertilizer for my starter plants in the greenhouse. I’ve had others that after awhile the pressure doesn’t hold and these are fabulous. Right off the bat they held more pressure than my others did even when new. The sprayer works great. They’re easy to ou p lock and lift and I like that they’re not too heavy for me. The larger two gallon ones are great if I’m watering with the water. Easel in the ground, but lifting that two gallon thing up to do all of the many, many other seedlings on the upper and top shelves is torture for me. These I can hold up high or low. And the sprayer works just as good when watering plants on the top shelves (which is another thing my other ones suck at!) I’d recommend these to anyone who needs a high quality pressure sprayer that isn’t going to fall apart after a few months of use. I’m ordering two more and ditching the old ones that I have! Five stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s works good for spraying weeds
It’s easy to assemble. The nozzle works really good. Most nozzles leak and I don’t like that. I put high strength vinegar in my sprayer. I don’t want it leaking where I’m not trying to spray. The pressure builds up really good. So far this high proof vinegar hasn’t destroyed my sprayer. It’s versatile to use for other things like using castor oil against moles.

Almost great
So far it has been an (almost) great sprayer. I use this for insecticide. The one grip and its enough for me to take a star off, is there is no mark for the 1 gallon point. You have a sprayer, that is labeled as a 1 Gallon sprayer and made in the USA but has no mark for the 1 gallon fill mark. It has the max line for the liter but not the gallon. Pretty big issue when your mix ratio depends on a gallon of fluid. So one star off for that.

Easy to Assemble and Does the Job
Living in an apartment, I don’t have access to a hose to wash my bike. This little sprayer is perfect for the job. I wash the bike with dish soap and rinse it off with the sprayer. I’m not mechanically inclined, but this sprayer is easy to assemble. In fact, I didn’t even need the directions.

Great buy for those who want to keep control of weeds etc.
Glad I purchased this, I’ve been wanting one for quite a while, especially now that I am older and have problems with my hands hurting when I over exert, all I have to do now is pour the round-up mixture into a container and go spray the weeds that pop up around the yard, so much easier for me now, I have not had any issues with the seal or sprayer, so happy about this, since I did read that some commentators had issues with this, I have not. This is a great buy for anyone who needs to control any weed problems or other needs

Works well
This is a lightweight sprayer perfect for the garden and yard. The size is adequate for my needs, which are spraying fungicides or dormant oils on select plants in my yard in winter/early spring. As it gets warmer, I’ll be using insecticidal soap in one and Bt in the other ( I bought the convenient two-pack.). I like that the spray arm is long enough to easily spray between branches and the undersides of leaves.

Instructions confusing
The instruction booklet shows that various nozzles are supposed to come with it, so it was confusing. After I saw a video I realized you don’t need them. I have only used to spray a broad area, so I don’t know how the other functions work.

Very practical
It’s an ideal size to carry around as long as it is no more than half full. The nozzle is strong as it holds the pressure by a few manual pumps.There is no pressure release button so be careful opening the lid as it tends to spray all over your hand

Makes watering plants so easy
I bought this because I was tired of wasting time with a squirt bottle watering all of my plants.I fill this up and can mist all of my plants in a fast and effective way. No refilling the bottle multiple times. The mist comes out light, so all of the plants can get a light misting and not drenched by pouring water all over them.

I’m a happy refugee from the hand spritzer
For years I’ve been spraying my garden vegetable plants with hand spritzers. I apply water-diluted sulfur to my squash and melon leaves so they stay green and fresh, and water-diluted fertilizer to my tomato leaves. I need to spray both the tops and bottoms of leaves, but haven’t been able to. I kept encountering the same problems with hand spritzers: spritzers that stop working all too soon; spritzers that will spray on tops of leaves, but not under leaves because they don’t work when the nozzle is pointing upward; spritzers that can’t fit in where I need to spray, so I can’t get to the center of the plants; and spritzers that can’t hold enough liquid to spray. I finally gave up and bought one of these. Before buying I could see I would be spraying with a wand, and that turned out to be ideal! I can spray in any direction (down or up) and I can reach in where I could not reach before. I’m not going back to hand spritzers!The included assembly instructions seemed confusing because they are for a number of different models, which made it difficult to figure out what I was supposed to do with this specific 1-gallon product. Turns out assembly and use are easy if you follow these steps:1) Rinse out the jug. It may contain dust and bits left over from the manufacturing process.2) Insert the filter-end (perforated cylinder end) of the white plastic tube. You’re making a water-tight seal, so make sure everything is first seated right, then twist the fastener snugly in place.4) Attach the wand on the other end of the hose. You are again using a threaded-fastener that is sliding on the hose, and you are again making sure everything is first seated well before twisting snugly in place.That’s it for the permanent assembly! For first-time use and to get a feel for how things work, fill the jug about 1/3 to 1/2 full with plain water. Drop the black pump into the top of the jug, with its handle on the outside. The handle is used to screw the pump into the jug so make sure the handle is down, into, and engaged in the top of the pump. Screw the pump in tightly since this has to be air-tight. Then unscrew the handle just a little, until it is loose and can be lifted up. Pump that handle to increase the pressure in the jug, and do it for longer than you might think necessary. Listen for leaking air where the pump is screwed in, and re-engage the handle into the pump to tighten it more if necessary.You want a lot of air in the jug so you can pressurize it for a lot of spraying. If you fill the jug too high there may be too little air to pressurize, and you won’t be able to spray that much since not a lot will come out. You’ll have to interrupt with more pumping sessions to get the pressure back up along the way. There’s no law against this, it’s just inconvenient. Filling half way or less makes the whole setup lighter for use, too.The wand has a handle you can squeeze, like at the gas pump, to get the spray going. Twist the end of the wand to change the shape of the spray, as you would with a garden hose.When you are done spraying, re-engage the pump handle into the pump, unscrew the pump and see and hear the pressure get released at the top of the jug around the edge of the pump.OK, you’ve gone through your practice session. Let’s spray for real! Add water that dilutes what you are going to spray (use markings along the side of the jug to see 1-liter, 2-liters, quart, half gallon levels) and add your ingredient(s) to the water. You can shake the jug after it has been sealed and pressurized, then spray to your heart’s content!Done for the day? Empty the jug and start again with plain water, then spray to clean everything out. I use this plain-water spray to water plants that could use it. Why waste the water?I am happy with my purchase, which is not something I always say. Of greatest importance? I see the effect on my plants!. Reliably getting to the undersides of leaves, and deep into bushy plants, are now easy, and really make a difference. They will for you, too.

This Sprayer is Great!
I can’t say enough about this sprayer. I used it for the first time today with Roundup in it. I am so frustrated with the Roundup battery option sprayer AND the hand held squeeze spray as neither works well or for very long. So I poured the Roundup into this gallon size pump pressured sprayer and did my entire yard in no time at all. It only required a few pumps and it sprayed perfectly when squeezing the handle. The nice extended rod allows me to reach areas without bending over. I should have purchased this years ago. Highly recommend.

Best sprayer for the money
Seems like this is the best one for the money, and I appreciated that they packaged it so that I could buy two at once with a savings over buying one twice. Also, it is designed and produced in the USA.My only complaint is, if it is designed and produced in the USA as it says, why on the side is the sprayer is it calibrated with 2 Liter, 4 Liter, and 1/2 Gallon marks. But, no 1 Gallon mark. Curious. Especially since the instructions specifically say: “Do: Fill tank to no more than the proper gallon marker”. If there only was one…

Perfect size for my yard needs.
The one gallon size makes it very easy for me to carry and use. I use it for watering my new garden, washing down screens, deck, garage door, patio furniture, etc. Uses less water than a conventional hose, pressure is good, but not great. For its size, it works. I do have to pump it quite often to keep up the pressure, but that’s OK, as long as it gets the job done. Recommend for small jobs and projects, light cleaning, weed removal and watering of plants. The price was awesome for two.

Good Sprayer for Outdoor use
So far, this sprayer has been working real well. Good strong spray/stream with the organic bug spray for food products. This stuff is a little thinner than something for deer like Liquid Fence but that should work well too.A big key to using these sprayers is keeping the nose clean. After use, release the pressure (open the top valve) , straighten the hose and squeeze the nozzle. This will send excess product into the jug. Unscrew the nozzle tube from the handle and run through with water. doing this after each use will ensure long trouble free use.

A Cheap Sprayer
This 100% plastic item is made as cheaply as it costs. But it does work fine. The adjustable nozzle is good. There is no pressure relief valve, you need to unscrew to top to relieve the pressure, and vapor from the tank comes up in your face, so you need a rag or something to avoid that. Also the pump handle lock is a little tricky. I had a Gilmour sprayer for many years and this is nothing like that. If you are going to use a sprayer often maybe this is not the best choice.

I like it when a product does what the add says it will
I use the sprayer for lawn work, killing weeds and spraying for bugs around the outside of the house. Works well no issues just like it should. Have only had it a couple weeks so can not give a view on how long it lasts but I see no reason if taken care of it will not last for years.

Do yourself a favor
If you have more than 10 plants, buy this. It’s inexpensive, relatively easy to assemble, and easy to use. It cut my watering time by 2/3. I wish I had purchased this sooner. I purchased it after watching a YouTuber who had it. You can adjust the eater preassure, which really helps with small plants in small pots and vice versa. Its so much easier to use than a watering can or a cup. A perfect gift for plant collectors.

Could be better
This sprayer is a good value for the money. Spray head adjusts well and does not clog or drip when trigger is not depressed. The tank does not have a pressure relief valve which I did not realize before buying – Thus the reason for 4 star review. Otherwise, good sprayer that gets the job done quickly.

Works, but difficult to put together correctly
There isn’t good instructions with this. So I put this together and it was leaking from the top. Since this is plastic I was afraid of over-tightening. Well if you don’t really tighten this down it will leak. I did get it put together correctly and after that it works great. I just don’t know how long the plastic will hold up in hot weather or if the screw area will eventually fail. For now it works and does what I need.
